[New Product] Eco-friendly copiers
Kyocera Mita Corp. has developed eco-friendly monochromatic multifunction copiers.
The KM-3035RC, KM-4035RC and KM-5035RC, which will be released in February, are reconditioning copiers that use recycled parts for 90 percent of their body. Compared to the product using brand new parts, the amount of the CO2 emission during production, distribution and discharge can be reduced to 45 percent.
To further reduce pressure on the environment, the copiers implement consumable parts with longer operating life and dioxin-free plastic materials. Instead of cardboard boxes, reusable packaging is used during distribution to reduce waste. They meet the strict criteria of the Law on Promoting Green Purchasing and the International Energy Star Program standards.
The copiers comes with duplex printing, double paper supply, optional network scanner, printer and fax functions and a printing speed of 31 pages per minute for the 3035RC, 40 ppm for the 4035RC and 50 ppm for the 5035RC.
The suggested retail price will be left to the discretion of retailers.
