[New Product] Digital accordions
Roland Corp. has released two new models in its digital V-Accordion line.
The 34-piano-key FR-2 and the 82-button FR-2b, both without built-in speakers, weight only 7.5 kg, almost half the weight of the bigger models.
The accordions come with a line output for connection to an amplifier and PA system, and can be connected to a wireless transmitter, which frees you to walk around during performance.
Roland’s original Physical Behavior Modeling (PBM) technology captures even the slightest air movements in the bellows and reproduces realistic sounds.
With the orchestra function, multiple tones can be played at once; six different instruments like saxophone and flute can be played with the right hand, five different bass with the left hand and percussion by tapping on the pad.
Other functions include a tutorial mode, eight-memory user program and battery life of five hours with eight AA batteries.
The suggested retail price will be left to the discretion of retailers.
