[New Product] Calpis cocktail
Calpis Co. has added “Yoshun no Valencia (spring-time Valencia)” to its Calpis Bartime alcoholic cocktail menu.
Calpis Bartime, supervised by Shinobu Ishigaki, winner of the Bacardi-Martini Grand Prix 2005 cocktail competition senior section, is an original cocktail line that uses Calpis lactic acid beverage.
The series has become popular among wide range of people, particularly women, and showed a year-on-year increase of 170 percent in sales volume and value.
Inspired by the lively image of spring, the Yoshun no Valencia is a bitter-sweet, refreshing orange-flavored cocktail that blends orange juice and apricot “Valencia” cocktail and liqueur Calpis’ original milk spirits.
The suggested retail price of the Yoshun no Valencia is 190 yen, including tax.
