[New Product] Banana pudding
On March 11, “Torokeru (melting)” banana pudding joins Kyodo Milk Industry Co.’s long-established pudding “Nameraka (smooth) pudding” and additive-free custard pudding.
The pudding uses fully-ripe banana puree which is categorized by the banana ripeness color chart as level six (completely yellow) or seven (with brown sugar spots) to give a rich and balanced banana flavor.
Milk makes up 26 percent of the pudding base to give a milky flavor. Natural eggs and a slow-steamed cooking process create a melt-in-your-mouth texture.
The suggested retail price of the Torokeru banana pudding 110-gram single pack is 100 yen and 200 yen for an 85-gram pack of three, both excluding tax.
