[New Service] Baseball on TV
J Sports Broadcasting Corp., Japan’s leading sports channel, has won exclusive CS (communication satellite) broadcasting rights for the 2008 Pacific League games of the Chiba Lotte Marines, Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks, Saitama Seibu Lions and Orix Buffaloes.
Starting with this month’s opening games, J Sports Broadcasting will air more than 410 regular-season games of the four PL teams, and the Central League’s Chunichi Dragons and Hiroshima Toyo Carp, from play ball to game set.
The opening games of the Hawks vs. Eagles, and Lions vs. Buffaloes series will be broadcast live from 12:45 p.m. on March 20. The CL’s opening game between the Dragons and Carp will be aired live from17:45 on March 28.
J Sports’ programs can be viewed by registering through SKY Perfec TV!, e2 by SKY Perfec TV! or CATV.
