[New Service] Multicultural room share
Borderless Japan Corp. has launched an international house-share service for Japanese and foreigners in Tokyo.
Borderless House is a shared international community home service in which a Japanese and a foreigner share a room. Roommates will be switched every month so that they can communicate with people from various nationalities and cultures. About 10 people will share a house.
The five-bedroom Borderless House is a two-minute walk from Tobu-Tojo Line's Oyama Station and is equipped with wireless Internet, washer/dryer, microwave, refrigerator, air conditioner, rice cooker, TV, DVD player and keyed locker. Bedding have to be provided by the residents.
The initial cost is 30,000 yen for and there's a monthly fee of 59,000 yen, which includes rent, utilities and Internet connection. No key money, guarantor or agent fee is required, but prospective residents will be a screened by staff. Passport, alien registration card and certificate of alien registration are required for non-Japanese applicants.
