[New Product] Script on mobile phone
Pentel Co. has released a software that can import handwritten text into Windows Mobile-loaded smart phones with USB host function.
By installing airpen Note Pocket software and connecting the optional Pentel's digital "airpen" via a USB port, handwritten text and graphics up to A4 size can be saved onto a mobile phone. The data can be converted to BMP, JPEG, GIF or PNG graphic files and be sent via e-mail with one easy click.
The optional airpen Storage Note 2.0 hardware comes with a two megabyte internal memory that can save up to 100 pages of A5 size data.
By transferring the data form the mobile phone to a PC, editable text files can be created using a handwriting recognition programs (license sold separately).
The software is compatible with Willcom's W-Zero3 es and Advanced W-Zero3 es, Emobile's EM-One and EM-One alpha, and SoftBank's X01T.
The suggested retail price will be left to the retailers.
