ひとり親家庭対象の手当に、児童扶養手当、児童育成手当、ひとり親家庭等医療費助成があります。対象児童の年齢は、18歳に達した後の3月31日までです。申請に必要な書類は、1) 請求者及び児童の戸籍謄本 *外国籍の人は記載事項証明及び外国人登録証 2) 請求者名義の銀行口座番号 3) 印鑑 4) 本年1月2日以降港区転入者は所得証明書 5) 健康保険証 です。受給には条件があり、受給要件によっては、他に書類が必要な場合もあります。詳細は、各総合支所くらし応援課保健福祉係または子ども課子ども給付係(3578-2111、内線2430～3）までお問い合わせください。

Did you know that Minato City provides a Child Support allowance, a Child Rearing allowance, and a Child Medical Expenses allowance, for single-parent households? The subsidy will be applied to eligible families until March 31th after your child will have turned eighteen years of age.
If you are interested in applying, here are the documents you’ll need to submit:
A certificate on registered matters, and your foreign registration documents and that of your child
Your bank account information
Your personal seal (or hanko in Japanese)
Your tax certification if you moved to Minato City after January 2nd 2008
Your health insurance card
In some cases, you’ll be required to submit other documents.
